Relax and unwind in this beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom spacious chalet with
views of the mountains for miles and the towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. "Haus of the Setting Sun" will WOW you!! From the "Haus" decks, or sitting in the hot tub, you will see the gorgeous setting sun every evening while grilling or just unwinding after a long day of hiking in the National Park or skiing at Ober Gatlinburg just a few minutes down the road. You will be able to soak in the large indoor Jacuzzi tub after a fun trip to Dollywood or a shopping spree in the Arts and Crafts Community on Glades Road. On those cold winter nights, you can cozy up in front of the the wood burning fireplace while you sink into the large overstuffed leather chair or sofa.

--THE PROPERTY--

First Floor: Master Bedroom boasts sumptuous king master suite with comfortable and cozy decor and en-suite bathroom.

Second Floor: Master Bedroom is very spacious and bright with an open concept floor plan, a Jacuzzi jetted tub and en-suite bathroom. There is also a very cozy sleeping nook with a twin bed.

The bright and fully stocked kitchen with all new appliances will melt any cooks heart! Coffee lovers will have a choice between drip coffee maker or a Keurig. The bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TVs along with the main living area. You will be able to enjoy high speed internet using Spectrum. On those hot summer days you can walk a few yards to the community pool to cool off, and relax in the hot tub at night!

This area is so lovely. It is in a cul-de-sac with very little traffic. You are on the tip top of the mountain with the most spectacular views! You can't get any higher than this! You might be visited by bears quite often but PLEASE DON"T FEED THEM and make sure your car doors are locked!! It is a must see and a must stay! 

We fell in love with this area and knew we wanted to have a home here. We hope you love it as much as we do. If you have a larger group, but still want your space, we can accommodate them as we have another property across the street that can sleep 7, Haus of the Rising Sun! 

No trip to Gatlinburg is complete without a hike or two so grab your boots and explore! Sitting within 15 minutes of the cottage, you'll find dozens of hiking trails brimming with water features, wildflowers, views and more.  You are located on the "mountain", as locals call it, and adjacent to the National Park, light number 1!  Not too far is Anakeesta with great views, gem mining, dining and beautiful gardens.  Also a must see is the "sky bridge"....what a site day or night!

Dollywood, Dolly Parton's acclaimed amusement park, is located just 15 minutes down the road in Pigeon Forge. Home to Splash Country waterpark, thrill rides, and unique shows, Dollywood is fun for the whole family.

Be sure to explore all that Gatlinburg has to offer! You'll find delicious restaurants, moonshine tasting, (yum) , candy stores, unique shops, and attractions like Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies within minutes of the property.  A must see is the "Village" located on the main drag in Gatlinburg, and a visit to the "Donut Friar" is a must for their AMAZING cinnamon bread.  Also the Arts and Crafts community on Glades Road is just a few minutes away.  

Located just 5 minutes down the road, Ober Gatlinburg offers everything from double black diamond runs during the winter months, family-friendly tubing, ice skating and bumper tubes on ice year round.  Just had major renovations and is a must see!
